Actor, Ugezu Ugezu Reacts after Peter Obi said he did not take a Piece of Land Belonging to the Government

Nollywood veteran actor, Ugezu Ugezu, has taken to social media to air his opinion, following the revelation of former governor and 2023 presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, that ever since his tenure as Anambra state governor ended, he did not take possession of a state government's land in his State.

2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, had earlier on revealed that since he left the office of the governor of Anambra state, he did not take a piece of land belonging to the state government, adding that he had to buy his own land and build his house in Onitsha, Anambra state.

Peter Obi further revealed that he was the custodian of land in Anambra state and he had the power to revoke the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of any government land in the same area he built his house, but he had to buy a land with his own money, so as to avoid the criticisms of people against him.

The former governor finally asked Nigerians to trace and see if there is a piece of land in Anambra state that was allocated to him and his family.

However, following the revelation of Peter Obi, Nollywood legendary actor, Ugezu Ugezu, took to his official Instagram page to react, as he opined that the presidential candidate will be better for Nigeria, adding that people that have the same mindset like Peter Obi are the kind of people the country needs.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has finally arrested Rochas Okorocha, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant. Strike continues as ASUU NEC fails to suspend action

The industrial action by members of the Academic Sftaff Union of Universities, ASUU, will continue as members of the National Executive Council, NEC, of the union did not consider the option of suspending the action at its meeting which ended in the early hours of Monday in Abuja. Checks by Vanguard showed that the national leadership of the union only briefed the meeting on their interactions and submissions made to the Prof. Nimi Briggs Committee set up the Federal Government to renegotiate the 2009 Agreement with the union.
