Troost-Ekong reveals what Super Eagles need to beat Ghana in Abuja

Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has said that his team needs to be more clinical in front of goal in order to beat the Black Stars of Ghana in Tuesday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup second leg playoff.

Nigeria will host Ghana at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Tuesday evening.

The Super Eagles drew 0-0 with the Black Stars in the first leg in Kumasi last Friday.

“And of course, the boys scored at the AFCON [in the group stage], so I am not worried about scoring goals at all. I see the forwards in training every day; I see what they have done in the Nigeria jersey,” Troost-Ekong said at his pre-match press conference.
