As we approach the final sprint of the football season, we have tried to rank the 10 best midfielders in the world right based on the current form.

According to some stats here's a list of the top 10 midfielders in the world right now.

10. Ilkay Gundogan (Manchester City)

Gundogan had a stellar 2022. He scored 3 goals and has provided five assists in the Premier League this season. For his feats, he won the Premier League and the Carabao Cup as well. But more importantly, he established himself as one of the most important players in the Manchester City squad.

This season, Gundogan has continued his good form with three goals and five assists in many league games. 

9. Boubacar Kamara (OM)

He is out of contract next June. However, Boubacar Kamara is still used as often by Jorge Sampaoli, on the OM side. 

Used just in front of the defense, Boubacar Kamara is very solid in this role. The European leaders are following this file with attention and there is no doubt that it could change in dimension next summer.

8. Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

The Portuguese talisman has been brilliant for Manchester United since signing for the Red Devils in January 2020. Bruno had a fantastic 2021 as he finished last season with 18 goals and 12 assists in the league, the highest by any midfielder.

After a quiet Euro 2020, Bruno once again exploded by smashing a hat-trick in United’s season opener against rivals Leeds United. So far, he has scored eight goals and provided nine assist in many league games this season. He has also provided six assists in the Champions League, the highest by any player in this season’s competition.

7. Teji Savanier (Montpellier HSC)

We cannot forget to mention Téji Savanier. In the Montpellier HSC midfield, the France midfielder is often dazzling. He also has very good statistics, with the Montpellier club. He has five goals and six assists.

6. Aurelien Tchouameni (AS Monaco)

It continues to take on a new dimension on the Rock. Since last season, Aurélien Tchouaméni is now a regular on Didier Deschamps' list. It must be said that the midfielder's performance with AS Monaco is excellent. He almost never misses a match with the club of the principality, regardless of the competition.

4. Dimitri Payet (OM)

Jorge Sampaoli managed to put him back to his best level. We can say it, we are seeing a very great Dimitri Payet again this season. The OM attacking midfielder is particularly decisive. He has eight goals and nine assists in Ligue 1. Warmer autumns could spell bad news for butterflies, suggests study

The findings are published in the British Ecological Society journal,  Functional Ecology . warmer and longer autumn conditions lost more weight and used more energy than those exposed to milder conditions. Although the butterflies didn't die immediately under the more elevated conditions, the researchers found that those that experienced them were less likely to survive to adulthood the following spring. Dr. Matthew Nielsen at the University of Oulu, who conducted the research at Stockholm University, said: "Climate change is making autumns warmer and last longer, and it was this specific combination of conditions that had the greatest impact on the butterflies in our study. A 19-year-old suspected internet fraudster, Emmanuel David has confessed that he used the proceeds of his internet fraud scam to pay for his post-University Matriculation Test Examination expenses. David, who was nabbed by the Osun State Police Command, alongside two other teenagers, Chibuike Godspower, 16, and Jesse Izedi, 16, also claimed that he was caught in his first deal worth N315,000. Emmanuel disclosed that he withdrew the money from the online Union-direct account of his Facebook friend, who operated a Point Of Sales, POS terminal.
