Three players who inspired my football career-Iheanacho

Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho, has said that three football legends, Ronaldinho, Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy inspired his football career.


Iheanacho said he loves watching them and learned a lot from the trio.


The Leicester City star said this while speaking to FIFA’s official website ahead of Nigeria’s 2022 FIFA World Cup 

playoff against Ghana on Friday night.

“Growing up, I loved Ronaldinho,” Iheanacho said.

“I loved his style of play, confidence, and the way he loved football. The way he dribbled, the way he played, passed his touches. He is one of the greatest players of all time.

“They [Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy] are two legends,” Iheanacho added.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has finally arrested Rochas Okorocha, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant. Source: Daily Post Nigeria EFCC picked up Okorocha from his residence in the Maitama area of Abuja on Tuesday evening. The anti-graft agency had earlier invaded the residence of the former Imo State governor in an attempt to arrest him. Strike continues as ASUU NEC fails to suspend action

The industrial action by members of the Academic Sftaff Union of Universities, ASUU, will continue as members of the National Executive Council, NEC, of the union did not consider the option of suspending the action at its meeting which ended in the early hours of Monday in Abuja. Checks by Vanguard showed that the national leadership of the union only briefed the meeting on their interactions and submissions made to the Prof. Nimi Briggs Committee set up the Federal Government to renegotiate the 2009 Agreement with the union.
