Final four bidders to replace Abramovich as Chelsea owner confirmed

Raine Group, a US based investment bank, has whittled down all the interested parties in buying Chelsea Football Club to a shortlist of four.

According to The Athletic, the shortlisted bids are from Todd Boehly, David Blitzer and Josh Harris, the Ricketts family and Boston Celtics owner Stephen Pagliuca.

This comes a day after The Saudi Media Group was dropped by the American bank.

Raine Group communicated the decision to the group on behalf of Chelsea.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has finally arrested Rochas Okorocha, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant. The anti-graft agency had earlier invaded the residence of the former Imo State governor in an attempt to arrest him. At the 2023 Oscars, Nigerian female artistes were dressed to impress. From the red carpet to the stage, they were dressed in stunning and glamorous ensembles that were sure to turn heads. Many of the artistes opted for traditional Nigerian styles, such as the Iro and Buba, which is a two-piece outfit consisting of a blouse and wrapper. Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has said that his team needs to be more clinical in front of goal in order to beat the Black Stars of Ghana in Tuesday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup second leg playoff. Nigeria will host Ghana at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Tuesday evening.
