At the 2023 Oscars, Nigerian female artistes were dressed to impress. From the red carpet to the stage, they were dressed in stunning and glamorous ensembles that were sure to turn heads. Many of the artistes opted for traditional Nigerian styles, such as the Iro and Buba, which is a two-piece outfit consisting of a blouse and wrapper. Others wore modern and contemporary designs, such as jumpsuits, gowns, and ruffled dresses. Many of the outfits
featured vibrant colors and intricate designs, such as beading and embroidery. The artistes also accessorized their looks with statement jewelry and headpieces. All in all, the Nigerian female artistes at the 2023 Oscars looked absolutely stunning and made a powerful statement about the beauty and culture of Nigeria.

ASUU strike: Nwajiuba says FG working on alternative funding structure for universities The Nigerian government is currently working on proposals it can use to resolve the ASUU strike, including a new scheme in which universities implement a different way of earning funds. This was disclosed by Emeka Nwajiuba, former Minister of State for Education and a presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in an  interview  with Channels TV on Sunday. He stated that the implementation of alternative funding structures is a necessity for university autonomy. What the former minister is saying Nwajiuba apologised to Nigerian students for the continued strike, taking responsibility as their minister. “On behalf of the FG, we want issues to be understood. We have had nearly 15 strikes in 20 years. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has finally arrested Rochas Okorocha, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant. Source: Daily Post Nigeria EFCC picked up Okorocha from his residence in the Maitama area of Abuja on Tuesday evening. The anti-graft agency had earlier invaded the residence of the former Imo State governor in an attempt to arrest him. EFCC declares Rivers Accountant-General, others wanted for N435bn fraud The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared the Rivers State Accountant-General, Fubara Siminayi, and 58 others wanted for N435 billion fraud.
