Ada La Pinky Reveals Why She Said It's Necessary For A Man To Pay Her Transport Fare After A Date

Ada La Pinky who went viral some days ago after she said in a video that she can't date a man who asked her out and after failed to sponsor her transport fare has explained why she said so. She was featured in a podcast yesterday along with Nedu Wazobia FM where she was asked to explain more on why she said a man must pay for her date's transport fare, she also had to defend her opinion which sparked up a heated debate among them.

According to Ada La Pinky, the cost of makeup nowadays and also the cost of looking beautiful is expensive. She spoke about the time and money it takes for a lady to arrange herself, get nice cloth, pay her transport fare to get to the date venue, she said that the man who invited her is supposed to give her money as a way of saying thanks for coming.

"I was crucified for saying this," she says before moving on to give an example of herself.

"For me, I would dress up, most times we don't actually know how to do our make-up ourselves. You call a make-up artist to come around, 30 thousand naira charge because you'll pay for home service, most times we go out, you get new clothes, you test different outfits".

She said it's always hard for her to get a suitable outfit because of the size of her front side while pointing out on the stress it takes to get ready for a date with a man.

She said that after stressing with the wig, clothes, make-up, and everything, even if a man pays for the food and drinks, he's supposed to give her money as a way of saying thanks for everything. She said the money would motivate her to go on another date with the man whenever she's less busy.

Along the line, she pointed out the money she used for makeup asking who would pay for it, she also said that not everyone can comfortably go out without makeup.

From the point of Ada La Pinky's defense, she explained that it's wrong for a lady to arrange herself for a date, including the cost of transport fare to go see a man without getting a token from the man, no matter the amount of money he paid for their food and drinks.
