One of the Nigerian top gospel singers, Tim Godfrey, has revealed the name of his fiancée, who accepted his proposal on Valentine’s Day. Tim shared pictures of himself and his wife-to-be, identified as Erica, on his Instagram page on Thursday. During the  engagement  announcement last month, the father-of-one had shared pictures of the proposal, where he concealed the face and identity of his future bride. Police rescue ‘kidnappers’ from jungle justice in Oyo

The Police Command in Oyo State has rescued two suspects, who allegedly attempted to kidnap a 9-year-old girl. The command made this known in a statement by its spokesman, Adewale Osifeso, on Monday in Ibadan. Osifeso said that the command’s operatives who were on patrol on Sunday, around Alakia Adelubi axis, Ibadan, at about 9.20 a.m. responded to a distress call on the “execution of jungle justice”. The suspects were alleged to have attempted to abduct a 9-year-old female, “Ope”, who was on her way to church. He said that preliminary investigations revealed that the girl was in the company of her mother, one Afolabi Modupe, and other siblings when the two suspects attempted to seize her from her mother’s grip. The delegates who stormed the voting arena alleged that electoral officials were assisting the delegates who could not write, contrary to the announcement made earlier by the electoral committee that only one electoral official attached to each state would be allowed. Some delegates from Rivers State have alleged rigging in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary at the Eagle Square Abuja. The delegates who stormed the voting arena alleged that electoral officials  were assisting the delegates who could not write, contrary to the announcement made earlier by the electoral committee that only one electoral official attached to each state would be allowed.
