JAMB Suspends Biometric Thumbprint & Verification after Exam

JAMB has suspended Biometric Thumbprint & Verification after Exam for 2022 UTME Candidates.

This is to inform all candidates who will be sitting for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they are free to go to their respective homes immediately after they are through with their examination without filing out again for another bio-metric verification or thumbprint.

Candidates are no longer have to wait to be signed out through another round of biometric verification after the examination.

According to the Board verification of candidates before the commencement of the examination is still in full effect.

The introduction of the biometric by the board is to get rid of all forms of malpractice in the conduct of the UTME Examination.

Candidates who have issues with their biometrics will not be allowed to sit for the examination on that day, the board will communicate to affected candidates on the next step to follow.

One of the Nigerian top gospel singers, Tim Godfrey, has revealed the name of his fiancée, who accepted his proposal on Valentine’s Day. Strike continues as ASUU NEC fails to suspend action

The industrial action by members of the Academic Sftaff Union of Universities, ASUU, will continue as members of the National Executive Council, NEC, of the union did not consider the option of suspending the action at its meeting which ended in the early hours of Monday in Abuja. Checks by Vanguard showed that the national leadership of the union only briefed the meeting on their interactions and submissions made to the Prof. Nimi Briggs Committee set up the Federal Government to renegotiate the 2009 Agreement with the union. Bianca, wife of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, may have taken a slapping lesson from her late husband, if Reno Omokri’s suggestion is anything to take home. As DAILY POST well covered, drama ensued at the inauguration of Prof Chukwuma Soludo as the sixth Governor of Anambra State on Thursday. Wife of outgoing Gov. The delegates who stormed the voting arena alleged that electoral officials were assisting the delegates who could not write, contrary to the announcement made earlier by the electoral committee that only one electoral official attached to each state would be allowed. Some delegates from Rivers State have alleged rigging in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary at the Eagle Square Abuja.
