2023 : Check Out The First Female Presidential Aspirant Of The All Progressives Congress (Photo)


The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) got its first female presidential aspirants yesterday.

The female aspirant is Mrs. Uju Ohanenye who hails from the South East region of the country.

She will be contesting for the APC presidential primary election with bigwigs in the party like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kayode Fayemi, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Dave Umahi among others.

The first female aspirant from the ruling party bought the party's nomination and Expression of Interest forms in Abuja yesterday.

During her declaration, she noted that she had what it would take to lead the country to the next phase of development just like the male presidential aspirants.

Mrs. Ohanenye is a legal practitioner who has never held any political position before.

The APC presidential primary convention is scheduled to be held from Monday, May 30 to Wednesday, June 1.
