The Reds defeated Watford 2-0 in game week thirty of the English Premier League 2021/22 season. The win implies that Liverpool are the current league leaders with two points above Manchester City, who are in second place on the table.

Here are some reasons why Liverpool could win the EPL title.

1. Decent run of form: When you take a look at the team statistics, you will notice that Liverpool's form has been outstanding. This is because the team has been unbeaten in the EPL since December 2021. The main reason why this point is valid is that consistency helps to win games, and winning games is a major criterion for winning trophies. So, if Liverpool could maintain their decent form, it would be mostly likely that they will win the trophy.

2. Squad solidity: When you watch the team, you will notice that the players are consistent, and the squad is solid. This is because their defence is well-organized, and the overall performance of the team is top-class. The main reason why I am raising this point is that for a team to win the league, the players in that team have to be consistent. There is a sense of urgency in Liverpool's squad, even when the team was some points behind Manchester City. The team's never give up ability is an edge that they have over Manchester City, and this could help the team in the intense title race.

In conclusion, we hope that the team will maintain their consistency in the coming weeks.

Police rescue ‘kidnappers’ from jungle justice in Oyo

The Police Command in Oyo State has rescued two suspects, who allegedly attempted to kidnap a 9-year-old girl. The command made this known in a statement by its spokesman, Adewale Osifeso, on Monday in Ibadan.
