Human Rights activist Reno Omokri just gave another one of  valuable advices to young men as he continues to emphasize on the fact that they chase success and not women. Reno Omokri has always told men to focus on what is scarce and not in excess because to him the goal of today's young men is women and not working hard.

He said, and I quote, “Dear young men, Women are not scarce. There are 3.9 billion of them on Earth. What is scarce is success. Stop chasing what is in excess and start chasing what will bring you success. Once you achieve success, you will be a magnet for what other men are chasing!”

“Sleeping with girls you are not married to is no achievement. Even dogs sleep with female dogs. The real achievement is making something out of yourself. Let that be your goal, not fornication. Succeed and marriageable women will look for you!”

Crisis like EndSARS being planned over fuel scarcity in Nigeria – DSS

The Department of State Services (DSS) has alerted of a sinister plan to stoke violence in parts of Nigeria, particularly the North Central. Peter Afunanya, the Public Relations Officer raised the alarm in a statement on Saturday. The spokesman said the aim was to cause ethno-religious crisis, ignite reprisals and heat up the polity. The DSS said the sponsors have mobilised foot soldiers and held several meetings in and outside the target areas. The agency said students, striking lecturers, labour unions, disgruntled individuals and strategic groups are to be used “to exploit the global energy situation to carry out a mass protest like the ENDSARS.” Afunanya noted that this is despite ongoing efforts by the government to address the issues. The DSS disclosed it was trailing “the agents of destabilisation who are desirous of using violence to achieve ulterior goals”. BY EKENE OBI The Federal Government on Tuesday assured that the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, would be called off soon, saying it was taken aback by the renewed strike which university teachers embarked on February 14, 2022. Addressing the resumed conciliation meeting with the Union, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, said the government was surprised ASUU negated the understanding and assurances it gave through the Nigerian Inter-Religious Council, NIREC, led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar and the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Supo Ayokunle. ASUU strike: Nwajiuba says FG working on alternative funding structure for universities The Nigerian government is currently working on proposals it can use to resolve the ASUU strike, including a new scheme in which universities implement a different way of earning funds. This was disclosed by Emeka Nwajiuba, former Minister of State for Education and a presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in an  interview  with Channels TV on Sunday. He stated that the implementation of alternative funding structures is a necessity for university autonomy.
