England squad announcement live updates: Latest news ahead of Gareth Southgate press conference

England will play friendlies against Switzerland and Ivory Coast as part of their preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Southgate, who signed a contract extension with England in November, is expected to shuffle his pack for his latest England squad as he begins the process of finalising his squad for the tournament.

He will announce his squad at 2pm GMT.

England begin their international break by hosting Switzerland at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, March 26 at 5.30pm GMT.

Then, on Tuesday, March 29, England will welcome Ivory Coast to Wembley Stadium. Their match kicks off at 7.45pm GMT.
