UNIJOS STUDENT KILLS HIMSELF AFTER GIRL FRIEND DUMPS HIM

A student University of Jos (UNIJOS), Obed Ejale is also known as Heavensent, took his own life following a heartbreak at the hands of his lover.

Friends and colleagues of the late student penned their farewell note on Facebook to the tragic loss of a prospective individual who lost his life over love.

In a goodbye note penned by Ejale to his mother, the embattled young man expressed regrets to end it all the way he did despite being raised the right way.

“To my super woman (Mother)
Mama, you really raised me a good kid, you thought me the ways of the word but your not here with me, the world have fccked me, there’s no point living ma, the girl I thought loves me doesn’t give a fcck about me and I can’t really live without you her,” he wrote in the heartbreaking note.

Strike continues as ASUU NEC fails to suspend action

The industrial action by members of the Academic Sftaff Union of Universities, ASUU, will continue as members of the National Executive Council, NEC, of the union did not consider the option of suspending the action at its meeting which ended in the early hours of Monday in Abuja. Checks by Vanguard showed that the national leadership of the union only briefed the meeting on their interactions and submissions made to the Prof. Nimi Briggs Committee set up the Federal Government to renegotiate the 2009 Agreement with the union. ASUU President, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has denied alleged failure of its proposed University Transparency and Accountability Solution (UTAS), by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). ASUU President, Mr Emmauel Osodeke, said this in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Abuja.
